Learn a Harm Reduction* approach to reducing drinking habits, dismantling the Habit Loop through:

  • Mindful Drinking

  • Self Hypnosis

  • Urge Surfing (Riding the waves of cravings)

  • Guided Meditations & Self-Friendliness Practices (Because beating oneself up can feed directly back into the habit loop 🙃 )

  • Taming the Inner Critic

  • Working with the Inner Negotiator (the one who shows up after you’ve decided whether and/or how much you’re going to drink)

  • Stress Reduction Tools

  • Somatic Experiencing (Tuning in to the emotional body, key to emotional regulation and stress reduction)

  • Goal setting, peer support & accountability.

Includes free audio recordings of guided meditations, hypnosis, and urge surfing.

This program works best if you can devote 15-20 minutes a day to the home practices, plus daily check-ins with assigned partners. Please be prepared to show up fully for yourself and your colleagues by quitting text, apps, etc during class time!)

*Harm Reduction empowers the client to determine their own path and outcome, whether it be drinking reduction or abstinence. The stress reduction tools offered here can be applied not just to drinking but to all areas of life.

Quotes from recent participants:

“For the first time I felt that I was able to be transparent about my issues and feelings along with people that have similar ones. You facilitated  in such a loving and gentle way. I felt at home and truly cared about.”

“You obviously found your calling and I am grateful to have found you.”

"The conscious drinking sessions with Beej were so powerful for me!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn practical and empowering strategies to help feel more present, self-aware and able to make healthy choices.”

“ As someone who has struggled with overdrinking and overeating for many years, I appreciated how nicely these sessions complemented the experience I'd had with Moderation Management meetings.”

“As always, Beej creates a warm and open space where participants can feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also covering a lot of topics in an interactive format. As someone who has carried around a lot of shame and self-criticism, I really feel like these sessions opened up some more space for me to find self-compassion and acceptance. I am very grateful!"
